The US-China Cultural and Educational Foundation forms a cultural and educational bridge between the United States of America and China. It was first established in 1978 under the name of US-China Educational Foundation. In 2001, it was renamed as US-China Cultural and Educational Foundation. Its headquarters are currently located in Atlanta, USA.

Our mission is to promote understanding and friendship between the United States and China. Through the universal mediums of art, song, and dance, we strive to build intangible bonds which can bring two disparate peoples together. Through exchanges, we help students, artists, and businessmen from both continents to create warm friendships, new opportunities, and lasting memories.

Since the establishment of the foundation, our professional staff has been overseeing and facilitating a broad range of international projects. Throughout the years, over six thousand people have taken part in our programs. Our previous exchanges include fine arts performance groups, summer camps, business delegates, university exchange programs, and many others.

Our projects would not be possible without extensive community support from both the United States and China. As such, we work closely with the local communities and governments. Past American supporters have included the American Consul General in Chengdu, governor of New York George E. Pataki, governor of Washington Gary Locke, US senator Roy Blunt, mayor of Detroit Dennis Archer, and more. Additionally, we have longstanding relationships with several Chinese officials, including the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Houston, and the governors of several provinces, including Beijing, Shanghai, Yunnan, Zhejiang, Sichuan, and more. Over the years, we have also established close friendships with conductors and artistic directors in both the USA and China.

We have been helping American and Chinese people of all backgrounds, from students to artists to businessmen, learn more about their counterparts across the ocean. Our focus is to foster new friendships and deepen understanding between these two peoples. Come inside to see some of our past successes, learn about our exciting new projects, and join us in creating your personalized experience of a lifetime.
