Who We Are

We are a cultural and educational bridge between the United States and China, with headquarters located in Atlanta, USA, and the Chinese branch located in Beijing, Chengdu, and Kunming. Our mission is to promote understanding and friendship between the United States of America and China. Through the universal mediums of art, song, and dance, we strive to build intangible bonds which can bring two disparate peoples together. Through the fine arts, cultural exchanges, and educational exchange programs, we help students, artists, and businessmen from both America and China create warm friendships, lasting memories, and new opportunities.

Our History

The program was first established in 1978 under the name of US-China Educational Foundation. In 2001, it was renamed as US-China Cultural and Educational Foundation. Since then, our professional staff has been overseeing and facilitating a broad range of international projects. Over the years, more than six thousand people have participated in our programs. Some of our previous exchanges have included fine arts performance groups, summer camps, business delegates, and university exchange programs.

Community Support

Our projects would not be possible without extensive community support from both the United States and China. As such, we work closely with the local communities and government. Past American supporters have included the American Consul General in Chengdu, former governor of Georgia Sonny Perdue, governor of Washington Gary Locke, US senator Roy Blunt, former mayor of Detroit Dennis Archer, and more. Additionally, we have longstanding relationships with several Chinese officials, including the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Houston and the governors of several provinces, including Beijing, Shanghai, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, and more. Over the years, we have also established close friendship with conductors and music directors in both the US and China, and continue to work closely with them to streamline our projects.

International Affairs

In international affairs, we have made friendly cooperation with many world-famous companies including SIEMENS, MOLEX, MOTOROLA, UPS, SCIENTIFIC ATLANTA, COCACOLA, THE SOUTHERN COMPANY, and HOMEDEPOT to help them expand publicity and business ventures in China.
